[Blueprints]

Blueprints, no matter how professionally drawn can never be taken as accurate. Indeed close examination of the blueprints listed below will reveal many discrepancies, not just between blueprints sets but also between individual sheets.

This may annoy some but it needs to be remembered that Lost in Space was never intended to be logical but was designed and written to entertain. Hence there are numerous discrepancies in set design and story flow. The best example of the set discrepancy is the design and portrayal of the Jupiter 2. From watching the series you would think the craft had three levels, an upper level, a lower level, and a third level for the power core. Yet from the outside it would appear the ship could only contain one level.
